What is Pescaday?

A free hobby project for anglers: plan your fishing day down to the packing list, log your catches and look up in the guide which fish it is and how to cook it.

Do I need an account?

No. The planner and catch log work without an account and save only on your device. If you like, you can create a free account; your catches are then stored privately on our server in Germany.

Where do I find closed seasons and minimum sizes?

In the guide for each German state, every rule with the section and a link to the regulation. In the catch log with an account, Pescaday warns you if a catch is undersized or in the closed season.

Do my spots stay secret?

Yes. The catch log is private: without an account only on your device, with an account visible only to you. We never show exact spots publicly.
